Aikya Trust has increased scope of work with 2 government schools in Anekal, Bengaluru
~ GHPS-School: this is our dedicated engagement. Aikya Trust has now adopted the entire school (all classes) to improve the learning outcome. We have hired 5 full time teachers and 1 part time teacher to meet the objectives (and 2 support staff). This will allow us to cover the foundational stage education and key subjects like maths, science and English for higher classes. The overall engagement is going to benefit 270 underprivileged children from LKG to Class 8. We have entered into a formal agreement with the block education office and school. ~ KPS-School: We have deployed a part time science teacher covering 120 children of class 5 to class 7. We have also provided 1 support staff to school for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene. Project details here – KPS School
