As a part of our “teacher empowerment program“, we conducted a 3 days phonics training for pre-primary and primary English teachers of 4 government schools in Anekal area, Bangalore. We had an enthusiastic and interactive participation from our teachers and volunteers
Phonics is an essential element of early childhood education that teaches children how to read and write. This will help us to enhance the literacy skills of hundreds of children studying in these government schools. We have also equipped teachers with appropriate teacher’s manual and phonics books.
We are deeply grateful to Anjana Tandon mam for conducting such a wonderful training sessions and agreeing to provide 3 months support to teachers for effective implementation of skill and knowledge. Anjana mam is an integral part of our AikyaEduCommunity and this is the second training conducted by her to empower teachers community
